Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton wore a strange piece of fashion during a press conference Wednesday.

I couldn’t be more pro-this move if I tried. Cam Newton has rocked some pretty questionable things in the past but this may be his most genius fashion maneuver to date. (RELATED: Here’s The Awesome Way Cam Newton Helped Out Special Olympics Athletes)
Seriously, think about it. People wear baseball hats with brims these days largely for fashion. It’s the same thing with celebrities wearing sunglasses indoors. They’re not doing it because of the sun. They’re doing it for looks.

So in a way, Cam Newton is calling out all the posers for their outdated techniques and bringing new swag to the table. He’s always been a man ahead of the curve, and he’s an innovator. He’s bringing the brimless hats to the table and I am HERE for it.
