Colin Kaepernick’s Latest Idea Is Almost As Dumb As Kneeling For The Anthem

David Hookstead | Reporter

Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick has filed for a trademark for an image of his face.

ESPN reported the following Wednesday:

Colin Kaepernick’s company Inked Flash has filed for the trademark to a black and white image of his face and hair.

The filing, which showed up on the website for the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office on Wednesday, but were filed on Oct. 5, say the intent is to use the image on everything from shampoo and hairspray to jewelry and lamp shades.

The filing also says the image could be used in association with “providing classes, workshops seminars and camps in the field of self empowerment and awareness to properly interact with law enforcement” as well as in association with “production of television shows and films.”

You can see a photo of the image below.

I can’t even begin to explain the stupidity of this decision. Who the hell is going to buy a bottle of shampoo with Kaepernick’s face on it? Honestly, who is interested in that?

I wouldn’t spend a single penny for a bottle of anything or any merchandise with Kaepernick’s face on it. Since when do disgraced NFL quarterbacks all of a sudden have a desirable market for merchandising?

This is honestly right up there with the same level of stupidity that he had when he decided to kneel during the national anthem. I have no idea who Kaepernick is surrounding himself with, but they clearly aren’t exactly giving him great advice. (RELATED: NFL Star Wears Kaepernick Jersey And A Bizarre Anti-Trump Hat. What Is He Thinking?)

I have no doubt somebody is in his ear chirping away about how many fans he has. He needs to stop listening to them immediately because they’re making him the main act in a massive circus.

Can he just go away? That’d be so nice.
