Singer Ariana Grande and actor/comedian Pete Davidson may have gone public with their breakup on Sunday evening, but the couple has reportedly been split up for much longer than we first realized.

The couple was most recently spotted on the SNL set Saturday, but they appeared to be going through the motions without much genuine affection for each other.
“There was word they’d broken up,” the insider told Page Six. But still, “they were Instagramming [Stories] together in bed, and she was backstage at ‘SNL.'”
It’s worth noting that Grande recently cancelled her appearance as the SNL premiere’s musical guest (Kanye West stepped in to replace her), and Pete Davidson was just seen inking over his tattoo dedicated to Grande.

The two got engaged after a few short weeks of dating in June. But Mac Miller, Ariana Grande’s ex of several years, died unexpectedly in September and the loss has apparently hit the singer hard.
It’s not clear exactly what broke the couple up but many are speculating it was a combination of Mac Miller’s death and rushing into things too fast. Neither has commented on the matter since news broke.
