Oakland Raiders defensive end Bruce Irvin didn’t seem too upset about getting crushed Sunday by the Seattle Seahawks.
“We lost, but I’ve got a beautiful wife I get to go home to, boy,” he told the media, according to Paul Gutierrez. “I’m going to try to make some babies, man.”

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the outlook we all need to have. He’s making a ton of money playing a sport, he lost and now it’s time to go “make some babies.” Imagine how great the world would be if we all had that mindset. Lose a couple million dollars in the stock market? Forget about it. You have a wife that you need to make babies with. Can’t pay your mortgage? Just start having babies. That’s the kind of optimism the world needs.
I can’t wait to use this line when I’m knee deep in trouble for whatever reason it might be. It’s the ultimate trump card. Are we just not supposed to all of a sudden make babies? See, I put all your brains in a nice little pretzel.
