LSU’s football program was recently slapped with a massive fine after fans stormed the field this past weekend.

The Tigers upset top-five team Georgia, fans rushed the field, and it will cost the program $100,000.

Coach O should walk out onto the field with one of those Michael-Scott-style giant checks written out for a million dollars and donate that to something else.

Screw the SEC for hitting them with this fine. They beat one of the best teams in the country, they’re officially back, and the fans have every reason to celebrate. (RELATED: Latest AP College Football Poll Has Many Shakeups. Number Two Might Surprise You)

Here’s a live look at LSU fans everywhere when they find out about this news.

I’m generally against storming the field. I think it sends the wrong message about how you view your program, but there are some exceptions.

LSU has been downtrodden and disappointing for so long. Now they’re a national-championship caliber team. They didn’t politely announce their return to the top. The Tigers and Coach O kicked the damn door down.

If that costs them $100,000, then so be it. It’s worth every damn penny, and this is coming from a dude that is no fan of the SEC.

Have at it, LSU! You’ve earned it.
