Another great slate of football games is almost here, and that means it’s time for some gambling picks.

We’re currently at 18-16-1. That provides us a shade of breathing room, but we’re still pretty far from where we need to be. Let’s dive right into the picks. (RELATED: Our Football Gambling Picks Got Bounce Back. Let’s Examine The Evidence)

1) Wisconsin vs. Illinois (+25.5):

My Badgers are down in the dumps. Right now, I have no reason to believe they’ll be beating Illinois by three and a half touchdowns. It breaks my heart to even say this, but don’t take Wisconsin here.

2) Michigan (-7) vs. Michigan State:

The Wolverines rolled Wisconsin last week and MSU is coming off a major win against Penn State. With what I’ve seen of both teams, I expect Michigan to handily take this one home. Take Harbaugh and company.

3) Oklahoma (-8) vs. TCU:

TCU has been maybe the only team in America more disappointing than Wisconsin. Only eight points for the Sooners? I would have expected an even larger spread. I’m riding hard with Kyler Murray and Oklahoma.

4) Iowa (-9) vs. Maryland:

The Hawkeyes are at home, and still very much in play for the Big Ten West title. The Terrapins have no chance. None at all. Expect Iowa to blow them away in Kinnick.

5) Washington vs. Colorado (+16.5):

What an absurdly disrespectful spread to the Buffalo. I have no idea if Colorado can pull out a win, but there’s no chance they’re losing by 17 or more.
