Fans of Washington State Cougars football are so excited for their game against Oregon that the city of Pullman, Wash. has been put under a state of emergency.
Pullmanradio.com reported the following details:
The City of Pullman has declared an emergency to help deal with the massive crowd expected for this weekend’s historic ESPN College Gameday visit to Washington State University. City council approved the emergency declaration on Tuesday night. The vote allows Pullman Transit buses to help move fans around campus on Saturday.
Now, this is what I’m talking about. I want the fans so juiced that a state of emergency has to be called in the town of the university. I sure thought we got excited for football games in Madison, but we never had to take things this far. Mike Leach must be giddy right now knowing he might be the first coach in the history of college football who’s team got a state of emergency thanks to GameDay.

I really am pulling for Leach and company against Oregon. You hate to see somebody get their hopes so high a state of emergency is instituted and then lose. That’s not what we’re about here. We’re all about high emotions, big wins and football.
Take the Cougars by a billion Saturday!
