Vogue issued one of the most laughable apologies of all-time after a recent Kendall Jenner shoot.

The popular publication released a photo of Jenner with an afro over the weekend, and apparently, that’s just a bridge too far for the internet. (SLIDESHOW: These Women On Instagram Hate Wearing Clothes)

Vogue told E! Online:

The image is meant to be an update of the romantic Edwardian/Gibson Girl hair which suits the period feel of the Brock Collection, and also the big hair of the ’60s and the early ’70s, that puffed-out, teased-out look of those eras. We apologize if it came across differently than intended, and we certainly did not mean to offend anyone by it.

Let me be crystal clear here. Vogue shouldn’t have apologized one bit. It’s a damn photoshoot. Who cares what Jenner looks like? She’s a model. She’s supposed to be a bit edgy. That’s the way the industry works. (SLIDESHOW: 71 Times Samantha Hoopes Stripped Down)

We are lost as a country if any publication has to apologize because they photographed somebody with an afro. What a weak society we are becoming. If I was running Vogue, I would have fired off a GIF of me flipping them the middle finger and moved on. You can’t negotiate with terrorists, and social justice warriors flipping out on the internet is one of the worst things on the planet. (SLIDESHOW: This Blonde Bombshell Might Be The Hottest Model On The Internet)

You can’t give them a single inch. Once you do, they won’t stop. (SLIDESHOW: 142 Times Josephine Skriver Barely Wore Anything)

Kendall Jenner and the rest of the elite models out there can pose however they want in whatever they want. We didn’t win WWII so people could complain about her Vogue shoots. If you disagree, then I suggest you find an airport and get the hell out.
