Fired Cleveland Browns coach Hue Jackson wasn’t unemployed very long.
Jackson was fired a couple weeks back, and now he’s been hired as the special assistant to the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals, according to Adam Schefter.
Marvin Lewis announced Hue Jackson will join the Bengals’ coaching staff as Special Assistant to the Head Coach.

I really don’t understand this move at all by the Bengals. Jackson won a grand total of three games as a head coach in Cleveland. I thought the NFL was all about winning. Does winning only a trio of games in more than two years sound like a lot of winning?
It sure doesn’t sound like winning to me.

This really doesn’t make sense at all. Good for Jackson for not just spinning his wheels around, but that doesn’t mean the Bengals made a good call. (RELATED: Here Are The Highlights Of Week 10 In The NFL)
If I was running a franchise right now, I wouldn’t want to touch Jackson with a 10-foot poll. Not a chance in hell.
Of course, I don’t think anybody has ever accused the Bengals of being geniuses. They’re routinely mocked for bad decisions and chaos in the franchise. So, I guess this is at least par for the course.
