MMA fighter Kay Hansen entered the octagon wearing a t-shirt with the words “Pro-Life, Pro-God, Pro-Gun.”

The 19-year-old Hansen currently has a sponsorship from NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch, who works for an organization that Hansen has voiced support for. (RELATED: UFC Star Drops Impressive Training Video That Should Silence All Her Critics)

Hansen is a devout Christian, and an outspoken conservative.

Unlike most celebrities, Hansen has made her faith and her patriotism the centerpiece of her public persona. Hansen frequently tweets support for religious and conservative causes, and includes both a bible verse and an American flag emoji in her Twitter biography.

Hansen’s outspokenness outside the ring has not overshadowed her performance inside of it. Earlier this year, she became the youngest fighter in Invicta history to force a first-round submission in her first ever fight.

She, in general, appears to be widely respected as one of the top up-and-coming stars in her sport.
