In what may have been the most memorable Monday Night Football game of all time, the Los Angeles Rams outlasted the Kansas City Chiefs 54-51.

The game was every bit as wild and entertaining as it sounds, so let’s dive into every insane statistic. (RELATED: Colin Kaepernick’s Girlfriend Attacks The NFL After The Redskins Don’t Sign Him)

According to ESPN’s Stats & Info, this is the first game in NFL history where both teams scored 50 points, which is more combined points than any Big 12 game has produced all season. Entering Monday night’s contest, every team that had scored 50 or more points in a game had been 216-0. (RELATED: Big 12 Reprimands Texas Player For This Absurd Reason)

With 105 combined points, this game was the third highest scoring game in NFL history behind the 1966 Redskins-Giants game (113 points), the 2004 Bengals-Browns games (106 points).

Among other crazy stats, the Rams-Chiefs game produced more touchdowns than the lowly Buffalo Bills have scored during the entire season!

Anticipating a scoring fest, Las Vegas gave this game the highest over/under in NFL history at 64 points. That was surpassed in the third quarter.

And to put in perspective, the offensive juggernaut that Rams’ head coach Sean McVay has built, the 54 points Los Angeles scored on Monday night are more than the points they scored in the final six games of the 2016 season combined. The 2016 season was the inaugural season for both the new Los Angeles Rams and Jared Goff, and the final season for head coach Jeff Fisher.

Was this the greatest game in NFL history?

It’s certainly up there, and fans have a lot to look forward to. Rams’ quarterback Jared Goff and Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes represent the future of the NFL, and both seem set to dominate the league for decades.

Maybe we’ll even see a rematch on February 3?
