Hugh Freeze is apparently in the mix to be Florida State’s offensive coordinator.

According to Clay Travis, discussions are ongoing between FSU officials and the former Ole Miss head coach. Freeze was fired from the Rebels program after he allegedly placed calls to escorts.

It really does look like Freeze is going to be back on the sideline sooner than later, and that’s a good thing for somebody’s offense. (RELATED: The Final AP College Football Poll Of The Regular Season Is Here. Find Out Who Is Number One)

He’s already been rumored to be in the mix at Tennessee, and people tend to forget Alabama also had interest after Freeze was fired from Ole Miss.

Freeze getting hired at FSU also makes a ton of sense. The Seminoles need some serious help. They just experienced one of the worst seasons I can remember down in Tallahassee. Something has to change, and a new electric offense might do the trick.

If Freeze could light up Nick Saban’s defenses, why wouldn’t he be able to dominate in the ACC? It almost makes too much sense.

Give him the keys to the offense and let head coach Willie Taggart deal with the rest.

Here’s the last thing I’ll say. At this point in time, I believe there is about a 100 percent chance Freeze is coaching again in 2019. The only question at this point is where.
