One Stat About Nick Saban Vs. Heisman Winners Should Have Alabama Fans Very Nervous

Alabama fans may want to hit the brakes on their hype for the upcoming playoff game against Oklahoma.

Nick Saban has never beaten a Heisman Trophy winner in the year he won the award while coaching the Crimson Tide. That’s a pretty big problem for Alabama because they play the Sooners in the semi-finals, and Oklahoma’s quarterback Kyler Murray won the award Saturday night. (RELATED: Georgia Loses To Alabama After One Of The Dumbest Play Calls In Football History)

Alabama might be favored by 14 points, but do any of us really want to challenge history?

Do I think this stat might be a little different after Alabama and Oklahoma take the field December 29? I think there’s a high chance.

The Crimson Tide is full of star athletes, and have only had one close game all season. Yet facts are facts, and the fact of the matter is that Saban has never beaten a Heisman winner in the year he got the award while at Alabama.

I feel like it’d be a bit foolish to just assume they’re going to roll the Sooners now that we know what we know.

Alabama at -14 with this demon haunting Saban? Yeah, you can count me in on Oklahoma and the points.
