Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw a wild pass Sunday in a 27-24 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

Mahomes looked off to the right side of the field and then somehow managed to sling the rock to the left at Demarcus Robinson, who he wasn’t even looking towards.

The video is just as wild as you’d expect it to be.

It’d be so easy here to just say Mahomes made that play out of pure luck, but he didn’t. You don’t throw that kind of pass unless you think you can get it completed or at least have a shot at a reception. (RELATED: Here Are The Best Moments From NFL Week 13)

Mahomes is simply playing on a different level right now. Every other quarterback out here is trying to make easy passes to convert downs, and the Chiefs star is playing with magic.

The Chiefs now sit at 11-2, and are primed to make a very serious playoff run. Who would have guessed Mahomes would have ridden the bench last year, and then proceeded to become one of the most electric players in the league?

It’s almost like it’s straight out of the movies. If Mahomes can get the Chiefs to the Super Bowl, then he’s going to cement his place in Kansas City sports lore.
