Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic needs to be suspended immediately for disgracing John Denver’s hit song “Country Roads.”

The Mavericks tweeted out a video of the Slovenian-born basketball star singing the legendary country hit late Tuesday night, and it made me want to vomit.

I have no idea what language Doncic is singing or what he is even saying. What I do know is that I’m not happy with his pitiful attempt, which pretty much might have ruined the song forever.

Watch this abomination toward civilized society below.

Here’s a live look at my reaction to this garbage:

Look, “Country Roads” is an American classic and should be treated as such. You should only sing it if you can bring the vibes necessary to honor John Denver’s legacy.

I’m sure most of you are wondering just how often I sing the song. Let me clear up any confusion. Yes, I sing “Country Roads” all the time while drunk at the bar. There’s no quicker way to a woman’s heart than belting out the song with a beer in hand. (RELATED: LeBron James Signs With The Lakers)

It’s majestic when I sing it. It feels like the angels came down from heaven to sing backup vocals. It’s the furthest thing from this disgraceful performance from Doncic.

Shame on the Mavericks and the NBA for allowing John Denver’s classic song to get massacred by the young rookie. Fix this problem immediately.
