A new report suggests Meghan Markle is “miserable” as the Duchess Of Sussex, less than a year into her post.

This comes just months before the royal is due to deliver her first baby, which would solidify and perhaps arguably legitimize her place as in the royal family. (RELATED: Meghan Markle Has Reportedly Been Forced To Go Into ‘Crisis Talks’ With The Palace)

“Meghan made a huge sacrifice by moving across the pond, away from her mom and friends,” an insider familiar with the situation told US Weekly. “Marrying into the royal family isn’t anywhere near as glamorous as it seems, so in a lot of ways Harry feels responsible for Meghan being so miserable.”

“Meghan has so much on her plate, between being pregnant and dealing with the public backlash, and she’s finding the whole situation incredibly stressful,” another insider added to the report.

This stands in stark contrast to a recent report by Vanity Fair, which claimed Markle’s “goal was always becoming a household name.”

“She’s insanely smart and poised but very, very guarded. She’s not a person you can actually be friends with. She’s the type of person who is best friends with her stylist,” the source added.

What’s more, rumors of infighting between Meghan Markle and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton have hit a fever pitch in recent weeks.

But Meghan Markle isn’t the only exasperated one in Buckingham Palace. The Queen herself has reportedly “reached her limit” with Meghan and Kate’s feud and has demanded it stops at once.

Many hope the arrival of Meghan’s baby will largely put an end to the drama, but we’ll have to wait until the spring to find out whether or not that’s the case.
