The Denver Broncos’ Super Bowl odds didn’t improve after trading for Joe Flacco.
The NFL world shook Wednesday when news broke that the Ravens were sending their quarterback out to Denver. You’d think that would only improve the odds for the Broncos, especially because Flacco is actually a Super Bowl winning quarterback. That’s not what happened at all. In fact, they went from 100/1 to 125/1.

Well, it’s never a good look when a team trades for a Super Bowl winning QB, and then their odds of winning the big game go down.
That doesn’t even make sense. Case Keenum is currently the starter for the Broncos. Do oddsmakers really believe he’s a better option than Flacco?
It’d be absolutely absurd to believe that. I’ve got nothing against Keenum, but there’s no doubt Flacco is better at spinning the ball.
This is laugh-out-loud funny, and it’s such an insult to Flacco. The idea he makes Denver a worse team is so bad and lazy that I don’t even know where to begin.
There’s not a single general manager in the entire league that’d pick Keenum ahead of Flacco for next season.
As for why the oddsmakers are, it’s honestly beyond any comprehension that I’m capable of.
