“Avengers: Endgame” directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, issued a plea to fans Tuesday to keep the ending of the final “Avengers” film a secret ahead of the highly-anticipated release in 10 days.

“To the greatest fans in the world, This is it. This is the end,” a statement to the fans shared on Marvel’s Instagram read. “The end of an unprecedented narrative mosaic spanning eleven years and eleven franchises.” (RELATED: One Movie Is Expected To Obliterate The Box Office. “For all of you who have been on this journey with us since the very beginning, sharing every high and low with your family, your friends, your classmates, your co-workers,” it added. “Investing so deeply in every character and storyline. Laughing. Cheering. Shedding tears.”

The letter continued, “Giving so freely of your thoughts and emotions in spirited dialogue, theories, fan art, and fan fiction. Please know that the two of us, along with everyone involved in Endgame, have worked tirelessly for the last three years with the sole intention of delivering a surprising and emotionally powerful conclusion to the Infinity Saga.”

“Because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we’re once again asking for your help,” the statement explained. “When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you.”

“Remember, Thanos still demands your silence,” it added.  “As always, good luck and happy viewing…The Russo Brothers#DontSpoilTheEndgame.”

Avengers” Endgame hits theaters April 26 and already fans are showing they can hardly wait. Recently, the release of presale tickets crashed movie sites and caused complete chaos on sites like Atom, Fandango and AMC.

As previously reported, the final piece in the “Avengers” franchise—with the return of such stars as Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and Robert Downey Jr., just to name a few—set a new record for the mobile ticket retailer Atom, outselling last year’s “Avengers: Infinity War” by a mile. It also outsold the highly anticipated sequel “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
