Kyler Murray will reportedly no longer visit with the Washington Redskins.

According to the NFL Network’s Steve Wyche late Tuesday afternoon, the Oklahoma Heisman winner “no longer plans to meet with the Washington Redskins this week.”

This is just the latest sign that Murray believes he’s going high. The Redskins hold the 15th pick in the draft. The only reason to not meet with them would be if you knew you were going substantially higher.

Given the fact everybody on the planet, including myself, feels like he’s going to the Cardinals, I don’t see any reason to meet with the Redskins. (RELATED: Kyler Murray Meets With The Arizona Cardinals)

It’s really just a waste of time at this point for the dual-threat star.

If I were in Murray’s shoes, I’d do everything in my power to make sure I ended up in Arizona or on the Raiders with Jon Gruden.

Those two situations are, by far and away, the best options on the table. Gruden is more for my own selfish entertainment reasons, but we all know how great the legendary coach is at developing quarterbacks.

As for Arizona, the Cardinals will build the entire offense around him. That’s the dream for any quarterback out there.

At this point, the Redskins have no chance of getting Murray, and to believe anything else is a bit delusional. This is a good call to cancel any planned visits he might have had with the team.
