Lane Kiffin and the University of Mississippi are reportedly hiring former Texas Longhorns personnel guy Billy Glasscock to be the team’s general manager, per ESPN’s Chris Low, and I honestly haven’t laughed this hard since Noah Knigga burst onto the college football scene.
Glasscock spent three years as a player personnel operator for Texas and previously served in similar roles at NC State and the University of Minnesota, per Low.
Lane Kiffin is hiring Billy Glasscock as @OleMissFB‘s GM, sources tell ESPN. Glasscock was Steve Sarkisian’s player personnel guy the last three years at Texas and previously served in similar roles at NC State and Minnesota. Glasscock has a strong rep as a keen talent evaluator.

While it’s likely a solid hire for Kiffin’s Rebels, I can’t help but giggle at his gloriously phallic last name. Call me a child, I don’t care. It’s funny.
Is it as funny as Noah Knigga? That’s for you to decide. But it’s certainly up there. Even if you don’t find it funny you might Noah Knigga who finds it hilarious. (RELATED: RGIII Sits Down For Hilarious Interview With Internet’s Latest Viral Star)
While Kiffin makes moves in the personnel department, rival Mississippi State is reportedly looking into bringing in Glasscock’s long-standing rival, Bobby Brickballs, to serve in a similar capacity.
That was a joke for all you humorless Kniggas out there.
Seriously though I’m looking forward to all the good work Glasscock will do down there. I have no doubt he will really be able to penetrate deep into the coming recruiting class and shatter whatever expectations the program has for him.
