Hunter Biden’s former business associate, Tony Bobulinski, accused Democrat New York Rep. Dan Goldman of defamation in a letter sent to Goldman’s office by Bobulinski’s attorney Tuesday.

Jesse Binall of the BINALL Law Group, the law firm representing Bobulinski, threatened Goldman of “imminent” litigation in the letter obtained by the Daily Caller.

“Tony Bobulinski has used a Trump campaign-paid lawyer to make false allegations since October 2020,” Goldman posted to X on March 21.

“When Cassidy Hutchinson said he met with Mark Meadows with a mask on, he called her a liar. Then she produced a photo. Watch how he dissembles in response to the receipt,” Goldman continued in his post, adding a video for context.

Goldman posted the comment following Bobulinski’s testimony during the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability hearing on the Biden family’s business dealings with foreign entities. (RELATED: Hunter Biden Hearing Grinds To A Halt After Ranking Democrat Threatens Bobulinski With Subpoena)

“I want to be crystal clear: from my direct personal experience and what I have subsequently learned, it is clear that Joe Biden was “the Brand” being sold by the Biden family. His family’s foreign influence peddling operation – from China to Ukraine and elsewhere – sold out to foreign actors seeking to gain influence and access to Joe Biden and the United States government,” said Bobulinski in his opening remarks to the committee, a transcript read.

In the letter obtained by the Caller, Bobulniski demanded that Goldman remove the post and publicly retract the statement within five days or face a defamation suit.

“Your statement, as though it were a matter of fact, that Mr. Bobulinski has lied to federal investigators and Congress, is defamatory per se and will not be tolerated,” Bobulinski’s legal representative wrote in the letter.

“President Trump’s campaign has never paid Mr. Bobulinski’s legal fees. In fact, Mr. Bobulinski has paid over $500,000, in legal fees to numerous lawyers in law firms out of his pocket since 2020. If you do not immediately delete the post from X and publicly retract your statement on X within five days of receiving this letter, we will file suit against you,” the letter added.

On Dec. 13, 2023, the House of Representatives approved an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden. Mike Johnson said “it’s the next necessary step” and emphasized that the White House had “stonewalled this investigation.”
