Bunnie Xo revealed Monday that her husband Jelly Roll quit social media because of the relentless bullying he faced about his weight.

She spoke candidly on her “Dumb Blonde” podcast, telling internet users that she would appreciate it if they would show some compassion when commenting about her famous husband’s social media.

“My husband got off the internet because he is so tired of being bullied about his fucking weight, and that makes me want to cry, because he is the sweetest angel baby,” she said in a video clip shared to her TikTok account that can be seen here. “My husband doesn’t show it to you guys, but I’m going to have a very vulnerable moment here. It hurts him.”

Bunnie XO addressed the online criticism that Jelly Roll has been forced to contend with, and addressed the fact that just because he’s a celebrity doesn’t mean he’s immune to the deeply personal attacks.

“The internet can say whatever the fuck they want about you and they say, ‘You’re a celebrity. You’re supposed to be able to handle it,’” she said.

“No the fuck we’re not,” she said.

“Enough is enough.”

She went on to talk about the impact that online bullying has on people at the receiving end of it.

“Don’t bully people, because you never know where they are mentally,” she noted.

“There are a lot of people who are not as strong as me, that are on the internet, and they don’t deserve to fuckin’ be bullied,” Bunnie XO said on the podcast.
