Trump tiff – ‘Chelsea Handler in Conversation with Tomi Lahren‘ let it all hang out at Politicon over the weekend.

Handler, the outspoken far-left comedian, and Lahren, the conservative political commentator, challenged each other’s views, discussing President Trump‘s credibility and war with the mainstream media, NBC News reported.

Handler accused the President of having “big lies we don’t even know about,” which Lahren argued are merely “exaggerations,” something she can live with. The comedian bashed Trump for resorting to Twitter as his primary media outlet. Lahren fired back saying it’s the only truthful way to get his message out.

Handler was pretty tame during her talk with Lahren, but not with CNN’s Jake Tapper. The Netflix host slammed Trump, saying, “He’s not interested in the American people. He lies constantly. He’s also unstable, and I believe he has syphilis.” Handler also said “Donald Trump scares the shit out of me,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Chris Christie snaps – Once again, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has found himself in a pit of bad press, this time for losing his cool at a Cub-Brewers baseball game Sunday.

The burly pol reportedly got in the face of Cubs fan Brad Joseph who yelled at the governor as he walked up the stadium steps that he “sucked” and is a “hypocrite.”

Recalling Christie’s response, Joseph told a WISN reporter “[He] was yelling at me. First he told me, ‘Why don’t you have another beer?’ which I thought was a decent comeback, and I thought that was kind of funny,” Joseph said. “Then he started calling me a tough guy.” Read a full account of the confrontation here.

Megyn Kelly’s dreadful summer comes to an end – After over a month of dreadful ratings, NBC’s “Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly” finally redeemed itself, garnering a respectable 3.5 million viewers.

This comes as a small victory for NBC, who was still beat out by CBS’ “Big Brother,” The Hollywood Reporter noted.

Last night concluded the eight-episode run, which chugged along with unimpressive ratings and controversial subjects. After the June 18 episode with Alex Jones, Kelly’s audience receded. The final episode raked in a little more than half the number of viewers as the premiere, The Hill reported.

Her next show, “Megyn Kelly Today,” debuts September 25.

Reality Steve gets it wrong – SPOILER ALERT: Reality Steve rarely lets fans down with his dead-on recounts of ABC’s “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” so you can only imagine my shock when I found out he misidentified the winner of Rachel Lindsay’s season.

This may be the most devastating thing I’ve heard all day. I feel as though the last month of my life has been a lie, overanalyzing every interaction between the two, cultivating distaste for the other contestants and ultimately watching Rachel fall in love with the wrong guy.

Former “Bachelor” contestant and friend of Rachel, Astrid Loch, hinted the winner in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight” where she accidentally dropped the name of the winner’s hometown. I quickly searched Reality Steve’s spoiler and sure enough there it was there in bold letters: “Rachel is engaged to Bryan Abasolo.”

As I try to collect myself, I find a silver lining. While I now have to readjust all expectations of Bryan, there is a beacon of hope that runner-up Peter Kraus won’t disappear into thin air like all washed-up second place contestants. Maybe we will be seeing a lot more of him and if he graces the screen as the next “Bachelor.”
