“Justified” is a criminally underrated television show.

The hit FX show followed around U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) and his arch nemesis/childhood acquaintance Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) as the two of them travel their paths through Harlan County, Kentucky.

One of the reasons this show didn’t make a bigger bang among the unwashed masses is because it’s on FX. That automatically will curtail the audience a bit, but this show is incredible. Everything about it is awesome.

Most importantly, Goggins and Olyphant turned in the best performances of their careers.

We also got the best line in television history: “The next one’s coming faster.”

Television might be in a golden era right now, and “Justified” exemplifies the time we’re in. Two acting titans took a show for six seasons down a path nobody could have ever expected. Everything was grade-A. The dialogue, action, character development and the ending were all much better than anybody could have ever hoped for.

And of course, how could I not mention his badass cowboy hat. Maybe the low key best part about the show.

Anyway, I just restarted watching the series, and it reminded me how amazing it is. Hopefully more of you will watch if you haven’t already. There’s not a single disappointing thing about it.
