Turns Out Things Can Get Even Worse For The Wisconsin Badgers Basketball Team

Wisconsin Badgers rising freshman star Kobe King is out for the year with a knee injury.

The Wisconsin athletic department released the following statement announcing the news Monday:

Wisconsin freshman guard Kobe King suffered an injury to his left knee and will undergo season-ending surgery on Monday, the UW Sports Medicine Staff announced.

King, who appeared in each of the first 10 games this season, will be eligible to apply for a medical hardship waiver after the season.

What did I do to God that upset him to the point that the Wisconsin basketball team is being destroyed right in front of my eyes? Did I bring this on because I gloated so much about the Badgers going 12-0 during the regular season of college football?

This has been an unbelievable season. We’re losing games that we have no business losing and now our best freshman is done for the year. It’s honestly heartbreaking over here as a Wisconsin man.

I expect excellence every single time my guys take the court. Anything less is entirely unacceptable. Obviously, King’s injury is outside of his control, but it still sucks.

Hopefully he bounces back, and returns to wreck stuff next year.
