It didn’t take long for Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek to get roasted on social media after he asked a female veteran if being a woman made her job in the military difficult on Tuesday, Fox News reports.

Trebek was introducing retired Army Master Sergeant Lisa Beth Davis on his show when he made a comment that would be considered sexiest by just about anyone who heard the phrase.

“That must be really tough for a woman because a master sergeant is giving orders most of the time,” Trebek said. “How was it for you?”

Surprisingly, the Jeopardy contestant paid no mind to the way Trebek phrased the question and answered candidly.

“I’m pretty bossy,” Davis responded, noting that she was the oldest sibling in her family, “so I know how to tell people what to do.”

Trebek then asked if she had brothers or sisters, before adding “So, you learned how to do it? Good for you.”

Obviously Trebek’s comments sent people over the edge on social media with many criticizing the longtime show host for blatant sexism.

You knew you had that coming, Trebek.
