The Cleveland Cavaliers are in complete turmoil, and now Kevin Love’s girlfriend Kate Bock might be getting involved.
A team meeting was recently held, and Love was reportedly targeted over an injury that is keeping him sidelined.
It gets a bit more interesting because Bock posted an Instagram photo yesterday of Kevin Love, and captioned it, “Incredibly beyond proud and ecstatic for this FIVE TIME NBA ALLSTAR !!!!”
The post came after the report of a meltdown between teammates, and he was was announced as a reserve for the all-star game.
There is a chance that there’s nothing major to see here, but let’s look at the facts. All hell is breaking loose in Cleveland. There are tense team meetings with accusations be thrown at Love, LeBron is posting insane things on Instagram about thanking himself, Isaiah Thomas is reportedly trying to lead a coup against Love and then this post just falls from the sky.
The all caps is what makes me think this is a subtle swipe at everybody coming at Love, which includes his teammates. It just seems to well-timed to be just a congratulations. Add in the fact she doesn’t often post about Love, and I think there’s something going on.
This whole situation is going to be even funnier if the Cavaliers get bounced early from the playoffs. I’d pay a lot of money to see the reactions to that.
