A new Matthew McConaughey commercial for Lincoln has hit our television screens, and it’s incredible.
I was a few beers deep last night as I watched the Grammys soaking up some music. Then it went to commercial, and this awesome Lincoln ad showed up.
By the end of the spot I was gathering gear so that I could go hunt for treasure. I can’t remember the last time I was so inspired.

Matthew McConaughey should honestly be winning Oscars for these commercials. They’re nothing short of spectacular. He somehow took car commercials and made them a cinematic experience.
I would honestly buy a ticket to a movie of Matthew McConaughey for two hours just rolling pro-Lincoln one liners. It’d probably be one of the best movies ever made.
There is no reason these things should be so entertaining. Commercials suck. Everybody hates them, but yet, McConaughey actually made them fun and interesting. That alone is worthy of winning an award.
