The Chicago Bears have apparently forgotten that the Detroit Lions absolutely own them when they attempted some recent Twitter trolling.

The Bears signed Falcons receiver Taylor Gabriel and posted a photo of him running over the Detroit defense with the caption, “We’d be lion if we said we weren’t looking forward to a lot more of this from @TGdadon1 in 2018.”

Wow. That’s just so funny. I can’t stop slapping my knee right now. There are tears coming out of my eyes that was such a perfectly executed joke.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, I’d like to casually remind everybody that the Bears are 1-9 in their last ten games against the Lions. Let me repeat that. They have beaten the Detroit Lions once in the past five years, which was a squeaked out 17-14 win.

Maybe the Bears should focus a little more on creating a team that isn’t complete garbage, and a little less on trying to troll a team that has absolutely dominated them for half a decade.
