Jason Statham has a new movie about a horrifying monster shark, and it looks awesome.
The plot of the “The Meg,” according to the YouTube description, is, “After escaping an attack by what he claims was by a 70-foot shark, Jonas Taylor must confront his fears to save those trapped in a sunken submersible.”
The trailer doesn’t show much about a sunken submersible, but it does show a ton about a giant shark absolute merking the whole universe.
I don’t know about you guys, but I think this movie looks awesome. Megalodons are insane. It is believed that they were at a bare minimum 52 feet long. That’s further than I can accurately throw a football. They’re also believed to weigh as much as 60 tons. That is the same weight as an Abrams tank.
I’m all in on any movie that involves one of these beasts absolutely destroying people. They’re essentially living torpedoes. Sounds like one hell of a cool concept. It’s just “Jaws,” but with a way crazier and bigger villain.
