MLB Player Takes 102 MPH Fastball To The Groin In Horrifying Video

David Hookstead | Reporter

St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina took a ball straight to the groin over the weekend, and the video will send shivers down your spine.

Molina took the 102 MPH fastball to the groin after Chicago Cubs star Kris Bryant nicked it. The video is downright brutal.

Not surprisingly, Molina needed immediate surgery.

There’s not a guy on this planet who can watch that video without immediately feeling pain. I’ve taken a few shots to the groin during my days of playing sports, and it’s a pain unlike anything I’ve ever felt before. You feel like your soul has been ripped out of your body.

I really don’t even have the words to describe the sympathy I have for a dude who took a 102 MPH fastball to the groin. That’s the stuff of horrifying nightmares.

Hopefully, Molina makes a quick and fully recovery. Taking a shot like that to the groin isn’t something I’d wish on my own worst enemy.
