But that’s not stopping her from doing it anyway.

For reasons unknown to anyone with a few brain cells, Perry was asked for her thoughts on Meghan Markle’s wedding dress this weekend. (RELATED: Ryan Seacrest Gets Caught Making Bizarre Comments To Katy Perry On A Hot Mic)

“I would have done one more fitting,” Perry said on Sunday’s episode of “American Idol.” She continued, “I’m never not going to tell the truth! One more fitting, but I love you.”

She added that Kate Middleton’s 2011 wedding dress was better.

“Kate, Kate, Kate won. Kate won!”

Thank you, Katy Perry. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule of peddling your lame concert tickets on Groupon for a severely discounted price for offering fashion advice to a royal. (RELATED: Katy Perry Is Selling Concert Tickets On Groupon And I Still Don’t Feel Bad For Her)

You do the math.

I realize that a lot of people weren’t huge fans of Meghan Markle’s dress. So Katy Perry isn’t exactly alone here. But when you dress as a human Cheeto and a walking billboard for Hillary Clinton, it’s pretty hard to come back from that. Either she’s jealous or she’s the most oblivious person in the world. Or both.
