Get A Load Of This Chinese PSA On How To Avoid A Knife Attack [VIDEO]

A Chinese police force has gone viral after it issued a public service announcement on how to properly evade a knife attack.

In a 12 second video, police teach their viewers the two easy but highly tactical steps in the event that a “knife-wielding assailant” decides to try and ruin your day.

It seems pretty simple to me. You identify the assailant and run away as fast as humanly possible. (RELATED: Watch This Weatherman Lose His Mind Over How Cold It’s Been [VIDEO])

Of course, this solution isn’t for every venue. You probably couldn’t pull this off in a crowded metro, a locked public restroom, a dark hotel room, or a variety of other places. But if you’re in a wide open area like the one shown here, this seems like pretty airtight logic.

It’s important to keep in mind that this informational lesson is intended for people in China. Because in America, we don’t run from knife fights. We bring guns.

I’m not a legal expert, but I’m pretty sure if you’re a licensed and law-abiding gun owner and somebody tries to stick you with a knife, you’ve got every right to defend yourself. And that’s way cooler than a 12-second viral PSA video.
