Former NBA Champion Faces Years In Prison: Here Are The Details
Former NBA champion Glenn “Big Baby” Davis has been formally charged with felony assault stemming from a May fight and is facing up to seven years in prison if convicted.
According to the Big Lead, the former NBA player almost hit a man with his car and then got into a fight with that person outside of a West Hollywood club last month.
Davis threw the man to the ground, and the man wound up hospitalized with multiple facial fractures, broken ribs, and a broken tooth. He was booked and released on $50,000 bail.
This is his second major arrest in 2018.
Davis was arrested on seven counts of drug possession and distribution. He had 126 grams of marijuana on him and $92,164 in a briefcase in a Maryland hotel when he was arrested, according to Bleacher Report.
Big Baby Davis played eight years in the NBA, four of which were with the Boston Celtics. He was on the Celtics when they won the 2008 NBA Finals.
