I’m telling you right now that the whole city of Washington D.C. is on edge. There’s simply something different in the air. Tonight, thousands of people will flood the streets, fill the bars and prepare to watch Ovechkin and company take on the Knights. (SLIDESHOWHOCKEY RINKS MIGHT BE COLD, BUT THESE WOMEN ARE SCORCHING HOT)

Is there nervousness in the air? Yes. Everybody is nervous. We have no idea what is going to happen. It’s like when you’re with your prom date at the after party. You’re optimistic, but nobody is going to guarantee anything at this point.

Focused. #ALLCAPS #StanleyCup

You know what I sense a lot more of? Excitement. We might not be guaranteeing anything, but we’re excited. How could you be on the verge of a city getting its first Stanley Cup and not be excited?

I don’t know what will happen tonight. Nobody does. Hell, we might be only a few hours removed from the city being consumed by riots. Not a clue in the world, but I’m ready for whatever comes next.

Go, Caps, go!
