Actress Heather Locklear was rushed to the hospital on Monday afternoon mere hours after she was arrested for allegedly assaulting a first responder.

The timeline of everything is still pretty sketchy, but it appears Locklear was involuntarily committed to the hospital last week after she threatened to shoot herself. Days later, police were called to her house for a domestic disturbance, and when authorities arrived on scene, she assaulted EMT personnel and was promptly arrested. And less than 24 hours after her arrest, Locklear was rushed to the hospital yet again. She may have almost overdosed, but she is now reportedly in “stable” condition, US Weekly reports.

“Heather is currently stable,” a source told the magazine. “She didn’t want to leave her home [Monday] afternoon to get further treatment that she had agreed to get earlier in the day. Authorities were called when Heather said she had taken prescription medication and there [were] concerns she had taken more than she had been prescribed. The family is asking for privacy at this time.”

Heather has struggled with a string of incidents with substance and legal matters in the past. She’s been arrested several times for domestic violence and for driving under the influence. (RELATED: Heather Locklear Arrested For Alleged Domestic Violence And Assaulting An Officer)

Her family has reportedly asked her boyfriend to stay away from her while they seek help for the star.
