‘House Of Cards’ Star Opens Up About Kevin Spacey. Here’s What She Said [VIDEO]
“House of Cards” star Robin Wright talked about her relationship with Kevin Spacey Monday morning on the “Today Show.”
Spacey was booted from the hit Netflix show after several allegations of sexual misconduct came out against him. The star actor was recently put under investigation for three more potential sexual misconduct charges in England. (Report: Kevin Spacey Facing 3 More Sexual Assault Allegations In London)
Wright, who plays Claire Underwood on the show, sat down with Samantha Guthrie to talk about what’s happened with her former co-star.
“We were coworkers, really. We weren’t … We never socialized outside of work. Respectful, professional relationship. He was so great with me. Was never disrespectful to me. So, that’s my personal experience. That’s the only thing that I feel I have the right to talk about,” Wright said during her interview with NBC. She also added she was “saddened” by the allegations against Spacey, but the team “forged ahead” to finish the show. You can watch the whole interview below.

I’ve often said it’s going to be fascinating to see how this all plays out without Spacey on the show. After all, you can’t exactly cut your main character and expect a completely smooth transition.
However, Wright didn’t sound the least bit nervous or worried about how it will all turn out.

Some people might be wondering how Wright can claim to not have known much about Spacey. I don’t find it that strange at all. The first allegation against him was several decades old. It might be a bit unreasonable to expect his co-stars to be aware of something that happened years before they even knew each other. The final season will be released on Netflix sometime in 2018.
