Kylie Jenner May Be The Richest Young Person Ever. Here’s How Much She’s Worth
Kylie Jenner is on pace to be the youngest billionaire in history.
Even using a conservative multiple, and applying our standard 20-percent discount, Forbes values her company, which has since added other cosmetics like eye shadow and concealer, at nearly $800 million. Jenner owns 100 percent of it.
Add to that the millions she’s earned from TV programs and endorsing products like Puma shoes and PacSun clothing, and $60 million in estimated after-tax dividends she’s taken from her company, and she’s conservatively worth $900 million, which along with her age makes her the youngest person on the fourth-annual ranking of America’s Richest Self-Made Women.
Another year of growth will make her the youngest self-made billionaire ever, male or female, trumping Mark Zuckerberg, who became a billionaire at age 23.
Ladies and gentlemen, that’s what we like to call in the business “getting your money.” Now, I might hate the Kardashians and their clan with a passion, but I respect making money. After all, we’re all in the business of getting paid.
Plus, the Jenner’s aren’t nearly as bad as the Kardashians. I’m not too upset with their success. Kendall is a smoke, so I can be happy for her sister. (SLIDESHOW: These Women On Instagram Hate Wearing Clothes)
These numbers are honestly just mind-boggling. She’s on pace to become a billionaire at the age of 21. We could debate all day the merits of becoming a billionaire the way she did it compared to people who actually invented and innovated new products. I’m not going to say she’s in the same league as Zuckerberg or Bill Gates anytime soon. (SLIDESHOW: 142 Times Josephine Skriver Barely Wore Anything)
But it’s still extremely impressive that she’s amassed such a massive fortune. I don’t know what I would have done at her age if you handed me a million dollars. She’s got 900 times that amount of money. What a wild world we’re living in.
