Is it just me or are my Wisconsin Badgers getting a ton more respect than usual for this upcoming season? I actually had a buddy of mine text me this SI cover this morning. It’s making its way all around the country. That’s how you know it’s blowing up. (RELATED: CHECK OUT OUR FIRST COLLEGE FOOTBALL RANKINGS OF THE YEAR. NUMBER ONE MIGHT SURPRISE YOU)

SI even wrote in part of its preview:

On April 19, Wisconsin tweeted a video from spring practice of receiver Quintez Cephus leaping in the back of the end zone and plucking an Alex Hornibrook spiral with his left hand. The reaction from the thousands of viewers: Wooooooaaaaaaah!

When was the last time you ever read a preview of Wisconsin football, and the receivers were mentioned as a prime point? Has that ever happened? I don’t think so. The air is really shifting up in Madison.

People are finally starting to take notice. As I always say, it doesn’t matter to us. We’re just a bunch of hard-working blue-collar people. We couldn’t care less what the outside noise is saying. We’re just here to win.

Either get on board or get the hell out of our way. We’re not taking prisoners.
