ABC’s most recent season of “The Bachelorette” wrapped up on Monday night and the early ratings are in.

Becca Kufrin’s season, which was ABC’s 14th installment in the series, came in at a record high but failed to beat out previous seasons. (RELATED: Last Night’s ‘Roseanne’ Finale Dominated Every Other Show In Primetime)

“Despite skating alongside the year-ago ratings performance for most of her season Becca Kufrin’s final episode was down 14 percent from the previous cycle’s ender — averaging a 1.8 rating among adults 18-49,” The Hollywood Reporter writes.

“Total viewership hit nearly 6.7 million viewers, both of those numbers marking season highs for this cycle of the venerable dating competition. It also helped ABC trounce the rest of the broadcast competition for the night.”

Coming in behind “The Bachelorette” was NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” at with 1.1 rating and 5 million viewers. Tonight, ABC’s spinoff “Bachelor In Paradise” kicks off and will likely fetch impressive — though not equally as high — ratings.
