Minor League Baseball Player Gets Tossed, Replaces Umpire With A Trash Can [VIDEO]

F-M Redhawks player Brennan Metzger lost his cool Tuesday night after getting tossed.

Metzger, who plays in the Independent League, got into it with an umpire during his game against the Chicago Dogs, and it resulted in one of the funniest meltdowns we’ve ever seen.

Most players just yell a lot and throw stuff around. That’s not what Metzger chose to do. Instead, he just dragged a trash can out onto the field and replaced the umpire with it. It’s as entertaining as it sounds.

That’s without question one of the better ejections I’ve seen. You know Metzger has a legit sense of humor if he responded by pulling out a trash can. Anybody can flip out in the dugout. That takes next to no effort. Actually getting the crowd into it with some great comedy takes a little work.

You can also tell Metzger loved all the attention he got. He was nothing but smiles afterward when discussing his antics. (RELATED: ARIZONA CHEERLEADER EJECTED FOR HECKLING OPPONENT IS A MODERN DAY SPORTS HERO)

I don’t know if I’ll ever write about the Independent League ever again, but it seems like a hell of a fun place to play some ball.
