Lane Kiffin Is Back To Hurling Insults At Other Teams. His Latest One Is Great

Lane Kiffin was in perfect form with a recent comment about LSU.

For those who might have forgotten, Kiffin’s name was thrown around a lot for the LSU offensive coordinators job prior to when he was hired at FAU to be the head coach.

“It’s because Tiger Stadium wasn’t loud enough … C’mon Tiger fans. You gotta be a little louder. I thought it was supposed to be loud there at night — that night games at Tiger Stadium were supposed to be tough or something,” Kiffin said during an appearance on 104.5 ESPN’s Off the Bench when discussing Alabama’s 2014 win over LSU, according to NOLA.com. This is when Kiffin is in his element. He’s just out here being brutally honest. I’m sure he’s joking, but it’s still a hilarious thing to say. He’s not here holding back at all. He’s just firing absolute heat out here in the streets of college football.

I need Kiffin to be back at a Power Five school like I need air in my lungs. I don’t mean to insult FAU, but he’s really wasting away in Boca Raton. He’s got the personality and attitude of a major college football coach, which is probably why he got the top jobs at Tennessee and USC.

Please, somebody at a Power Five school pull the trigger on this guy and give him the platform he deserves. It’s what college football needs.
