Johnny Manziel’s Football Career Continues To Take A Bad Turn. Here’s What’s Going On
Montreal Alouettes quarterback Johnny Manziel still hasn’t fully recovered from a concussion he suffered more than a week ago.
In early August, Johnny Football took a brutal hit to the head in a game against the Ottawa Redblacks, and he has struggled to get back on the field. You can watch the hit below. (RELATED: JOHNNY MANZIEL GETS ABSOLUTELY JACKED UP. IS IT THE CRAZIEST HIT YOU’VE EVER SEEN? [VIDEO])

Johnny Manziel was absent from practice once again Wednesday, signaling that the Montreal Alouettes quarterback likely still remains in the concussion protocol.
Alouettes head coach Mike Sherman said Wednesday Manziel has been attending meetings, but had not been cleared for outdoor practices. Sherman was optimistic Manziel could receive that clearence as soon as Wednesday.
The team will not practice again before Friday’s game against the Toronto Argonauts, meaning Manziel is unlikely to dress for that contest.
You just hate to see something like this. Manziel has been doing such great work north of the border getting his life in order, and now he just can’t seem to recover from his concussion. It’s not a great situation at all. (RELATED: HERE’S HOW MANY NFL TEAMS ARE APPARENTLY STILL INTERESTED IN JOHNNY MANZIEL)
His play on the field hasn’t been stellar, but he has been steadily improving. Prior to his concussion, he looked solid against Ottawa. You just always grimace when you see a guy that’s been improving get knocked out with a significant injury.
Hopefully he’ll able to bounce back soon enough and get back on the field. Nobody in America really cares about the CFL unless Manziel is playing. I literally won’t watch another second if he’s not there.
Let’s go, Johnny! The CFL simply needs him playing again.
