Seat Geek Made A Map Showing Which NFL Teams Every County Roots For. Some Might Surprise You

Sports ticketing service Seat Geek put together a map to show where NFL fans live across the country, and some of the results tell a different story about NFL fandoms than you may think.

The interactive map shows where NFL fans live by county, and which NFL fan bases cover the largest amount of land across the United States. (RELATED: DEBATE: ARE MALE CHEERLEADERS IN THE NFL A GOOD IDEA? [VIDEO])

Unsurprisingly, the majority of counties in Texas root for the Dallas Cowboys. They claim the most counties overall with 319 across the United States. But the Cowboys aren’t even close to covering the most ground.

Seattle Seahawks fans span across 800,000 miles. Their territory spreads all the way from Washington into states like Utah and Montana. (RELATED: NFL STAR LINEMAN GETS HIT WITH SERIOUS MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS. HERE’S WHAT WE KNOW)

It’s also pretty wild that not even the New York Giants are the favorite team overall in Bergen County, where they play. Let’s hope Odell Beckham Jr.’s $95 million contract helps to turn that around this year.

You can check out a photo of the map below, and you can find your own county using this link.
