Will Wisconsin Win The National Championship? Here’s My Official Prediction

David Hookstead | Reporter

Today is game day, and I am going on record to let everybody know the Wisconsin Badgers will win the college football national championship this year.

There are 12 games in the regular season, we’re going to win all of those, win the Big Ten title, win two playoff games and walk out of the stadium holding the national championship trophy. Write it down, seal it up, put it in cement, put it on a billboard and wherever else you feel necessary.

Wisconsin is winning it all this season. (RELATED: THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL WORLD SHOULD FEAR WISCONSIN FOR ONE SIMPLE REASON)

I’m sure there will be plenty of haters and doubters out there who will want to pick at the bread here. I couldn’t care less. Champions don’t give a damn about the opinions of other people. That’s why we’re champions and they’re not. Hell, we might not even have a game this season that’s close. I’m that confident.

We have the best offensive line in America, we have the best running back, a very good quarterback, a stout defense and the best coaches in the entire country. That sure sounds like a recipe for success to me.

Every journey starts with the first step, and our first step will be when we take the field tonight against Western Kentucky. It’s going to get ugly, and it should serve as a template for the rest of the season. (RELATEDSEC FANS DON’T LIKE TO USE FACTS WHEN DISCUSSING COLLEGE FOOTBALL)

Teams can go toe-to-toe with us if they’d like. Trust me, it won’t end well for them. We’re the Wisconsin Badgers, and we’re here for the only purpose of winning a title. Get onboard or get out of my way.

That banner sure is going to look beautiful hanging in Camp Randall Stadium. Best of luck to the rest of America, but you’re all playing for second place. See you tonight, Madison. It’s been far too long.
