Here Are The Five Best Gambling Picks For Week Two Of College Football
Week two of college football is almost here, and that means it’s time for my gambling picks.
I’m not going to lie to all of you. We struggled in week one, and only went 2-3. That’s on me. I was feeling a little more confident about some teams than I should have. Well, we’re going to bounce back this week. Let’s dive right in.
1) Mississippi State (-9) vs. Kansas State:
KSU looked awful against FCS South Dakota. They’re lucky to have won that game. You know who looked very good in week one? MSU in a 63-6 blowout of SFA, and that was without starting quarterback Nick Fitzgerald. Take the Bulldogs. I don’t expect this one to be close at all.
2) Georgia vs. South Carolina (+10):
Can you believe the oddsmakers are giving South Carolina 10 points? It’s a bit mind-boggling to me. I don’t only think the Gamecocks will keep this within 10, but I think they have a legit shot to beat Georgia. Take SC and the points.
3) Penn State (-8.5) vs. Pittsburgh:
I’m taking PSU in this because I think their near disaster against Appalachian State was a fluke. Pittsburgh is nothing to write home about, and you all know I’m always going to take the team with the better QB. I’m on Trace McSorley and Penn State at -8.5.
4) Michigan State (-6) vs. Arizona State:
Give me the Spartans here, and I’m not even hesitating. ASU looked solid in their opener, and MSU didn’t look outstanding. However, I’m still on Sparty. I don’t care they’re on the road down in Tempe. I have no doubt they’re going to cover -6.
5) Missouri (-17.5) vs. Wyoming:
Quarterback Drew Lock and the Missouri Tigers are a hell of a ball club. Nothing that I’ve seen out of Wyoming makes me think they can even come close to hanging with a solid Power Five school. As always, I’m taking the team with the better QB and better overall roster. Give me Missouri, and it’s not even a question.
Feel free to sound off in the comments with who you’re taking this weekend, and may we all have some great luck!
