Nike Releases Its First Colin Kaepernick Commercial. It’s A Doozy [VIDEO]

Nike released its first commercial of Colin Kaepernick’s “Just Do It” campaign Wednesday.

The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback narrates a bunch of highlights in the ad, which will air during the first of the NFL season Thursday night.

He wraps up the commercial by stating, “Don’t ask if your dreams are crazy. Ask if they’re crazy enough.”

I’ll be honest here: I wasn’t expecting the commercial to be like that at all. That’s substantially better than what I thought we were going to get. I figured Nike was about to hit the world with some serious SJW preaching about race relations and how Kaepernick got shafted. (RELATED: NIKE MAKES MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT COLIN KAEPERNICK. There’s a little bit of the shafting angle with Kaepernick talking about sacrifice, which, again, is absurd. But from start to finish, the commercial is actually pretty well done. Is Kaepernick a great narrator? No, but you can’t lie that some of those highlights were pretty awesome.

Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything. #JustDoIt

Watching Shaquem Griffin on the field during his UCF days is always chilling. I can’t wait to get the reaction from around the sports world when this thing airs tomorrow. I think the response might be much better than initially anticipated.

I honestly never thought I’d say that two days ago.
