Man, it really doesn’t look like Michigan is in no rush at all to actually start winning games. As I’ve pointed out before, Harbaugh and the Wolverines are 8–8 in their last 16 games. That’s pathetic for a program with their level of prestige, and things just keep heading in the wrong direction. Are they really going to keep paying a coach to not win big games? That doesn’t seem like a smart idea.
As a fan of the Wisconsin Badgers and Big Ten football, I expect excellence out of Michigan. Apparently, I expect more out of them than their own fans do because I’d be rioting if my squad performed as poorly as Michigan has lately.
Harbaugh should count his blessings and be happy with the fact the faithful followers of the Wolverines are okay being mediocre. I know most Big Ten fans wouldn’t be.
Also, take a look at Michigan’s schedule this year. It’s brutal. It’s not out of the realm of possibilities that they only win seven games.
