BYU Stuns Wisconsin In One Of The Biggest Upsets In College Football History

The Wisconsin Badgers suffered a shocking defeat Saturday afternoon when they lost to BYU 24-21.

There are plenty of people who would sit here and make up a ton of excuses as to why a national championship favorite lost to a team they were favored by 21.5. I could talk about a variety of things, but I’m not going to do that. This was one of the biggest upsets we’ve ever seen. It stings, but it’s true.

BYU marched into Camp Randall and came out with a win. It’s that simple. There’s no conspiracy, the world isn’t out to get us, and it’s nobody’s fault but our own. BYU played better football today and won.

The good news is that Wisconsin still controls its own fate. We are still going to the playoff if we win out. There’s no chance a 12-1 Big Ten champion is getting left out. (RELATED: THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL WORLD SHOULD FEAR WISCONSIN FOR ONE SIMPLE REASON)

However, our margin of error is nonexistent at this point. There can’t be any more mistakes or screw ups. It can only be great football from here forward.

Props to BYU for pulling off the insane upset, and props to me for being a man about it. Most people would just run for the hills, but I’m not most people. You don’t get to grind it out on these internet streets if you’re not willing to take it like a man. We lost today. Mark my words when I say that won’t happen again this year.
