NFL Quarterback Slapped With Lawsuit For Allegedly Groping Woman. Here’s What We Know

David Hookstead | Reporter

Suspended Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has been hit with a lawsuit from the Uber driver he allegedly groped back in March 2016.

According to TMZ’s report, the woman is suing Winston after he allegedly “placed his fingers between her legs and pressed them firmly against her vagina over her yoga pants.”

Winston has reportedly denied the allegations privately but was still suspended for the first three games of the season. (RELATED: HERE’S WHAT JAMEIS WINSTON IS REPORTEDLY TELLING HIS FRIENDS ABOUT THE ALLEGED UBER GROPING)

Winston just can’t stay out of the news these days, and it’s never for the right reasons. This Uber situation has dogged him for a long time. For those of you who aren’t aware of all the details, he was accused of groping the woman while riding around in Scottsdale, Arizona.

It’s pretty much the only thing that’s been talked about in regard to Winston for months. The question at this point is whether he’ll ever become a big enough distraction for the Bucs that they’ll decide to move on from him. At some point, you’d have to imagine they’ll have enough of his garbage.

There’s a high chance Winston will never reach his full potential if he can’t find a way to fly under the radar and just play football.
